Gardenn are a collective of producers and DJs based in Brighton and London. Over the past year, they’ve held down a monthly residency at Brighton’s Patterns, DJing in support of some of the most exciting DJs from around the world. As well as this, they’ve run a series of parties at venues around Brighton providing a platform for up and coming artists from the South East at Brighton’s Komedia and the Fortune Of War pub on the seafront.
Finally, they closed off The Shack stage on the Sunday night of Brainchild Festival 2017, rounding off the weekend, as well as holding down a regular radio slot on 1BTN radio in Brighton. Representing Gardenn at The Marshall Rooms will be Caldera (West Norwood Cassette Library), Elliott Hills (Gardenn) and Footshooter (Famous Friends), spinning records spanning genres and decades. Their selections jump between funk, soul, afrobeat and Latin rare groove, all the way through to house, hip hop and techno.
Jasper is a skilled, seasoned DJ and producer. His sets are exciting and eclectic explorations of jazz, funk/soul, Afro/Brazilian, hip-hop, house and techno that combine a wide range of influences, recently having ventured to Chicago and Brazil in search for records, with a passion for DJing that began as a child. Having made appearances on London’s Radar Radio, Balamii and Radar Radio and a year long residency at The Royal Albert in Deptford, Jasper is set to continue making waves across the country in years to come.
Acid aficionados and Dance Music connoisseur Young Zeup will be returning to his home land for a night of mesmerising rhythms. Renowned for his eclectic blend of grooves from across the ages, when he steps to the booth expect a journey through sound.
