Thank you to all the team that have worked on this project since we acquired the keys in May 2017.

Dear friends, customers, business associates, neighbours and the wider community of Stroud. It is with great sadness and utmost regret that we must inform you that from today The Marshall Rooms Limited will no longer be trading.

We have strived to get to the New Year with a fabulous season planned of comedy, music, DJs, events and classes but for several reasons, both in and out of our control, we must make this decision. Along with health and personal reasons we do not have the financial resources to continue in the long term.

Those of you that know any of us you will appreciate what a painful and unwanted decision this has been.

Our desire to bring top quality entertainment, amazing bands, the best audio visual experience with a platform for technicians to learn and expand along with a long term plan to work with the community and future generations of Stroud is not to be.

Our investment into the building and business has never been about short term financial gains, but an endeavour to bring more culture and a sustainable community hub into Stroud to complement its peers.

We will be working with artists & external promoters in the hope of relocating some events, but sadly some will not be able to take place. You will be notified via email and/or social media as soon as possible of what is happening and full refunds will be made.

On a personal note we would like to say this: Support small businesses. Those with a dream. Keep music live. And on vinyl. Give yourself a place to watch, perform, listen and learn. We are so so lucky in Stroud. Spoilt almost with the number of top quality venues and creative people. Appreciate those that make you love Stroud and the valleys so much, the venue managers, the publicans & definitely those that serve you. Thank you to the wonderful Bar Staff, traders, suppliers, and all you people who have crossed paths with us. Be nice, Learn and move on. We hope we can.

There is so so many people we would like to thank and the list is too long to put here

Trading Post presents DON LETTS. This gig will now be at The Lansdown Hall and Gallery. Tickets are at the moment still available from Trading Post, we doubt there will be any on the door. Don will be supported by DUBBU and ThreeBagsFull.
